Free Spirometry tesing event in Asheville, NC. Mission Health System will be hosting this event.

Mission Health, based in Asheville, NC, and is the sixth largest health system and the tertiary care regional referral center for Western North Carolina and the adjoining region. Spirometry testing will be offered at each of our 5 hospital affiliates: Angel Medical Center, Blue Ridge Regional Hospital, Mission Health, McDowell Regional Hosptial and Transylvania Regional Hospital.

Sharp Memorial will be holding a community outreach on August 1st. We will be providing free spirometry testing and education regarding spirometry, COPD, smoking cessation and therapies to reduce risk of exacerbation.

Aug. 1, 2012 Fox Chase Cancer Center, located @ 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, will offer: meet the experts, COPD screening, free Spirometry testing, instruction on correct MDI technique, and a variety educational materials.

A booth at the main Post Exchange on Joint Base Lewis McChord will provide Free Spirometry Testing to shoppers on 27 July 2012. Results will be interpeted and a copy will be provided for their primary care physician to act on. Educational materials on lung disease will also be available.

A FREE one day spirometry training workshop will be conducted for any healthcare professional who would like to attend.
